Stories from Jack's School Days

Here are some quick little stories from some of Jack's recent school days:

6/6
This morning Jack and Emme were playing follow the leader. At one point, Emme tripped on a toy and fell down. As she began to cry, Jack walked over to her cubby and got her lovey. He brought it over and handed it to her knowing that it would make her feel better. He is going to be a great big brother!

6/10
This morning at the sensory table, Jack and Gerard created a game where they would take turns pouring water over the other friend's head. They thought this was very silly and would dissolve into hysterics every time!

6/11
This morning when I took out the felt board bin, Jack became so excited! Jack started waving his arms in excitement and pointing at the bin. As he did this, he yelled "This! This! Felt board! This!". Then he ran right over to the rug, sat down, and put his hands on his lap (just how we ask the children to sit at circle time!).

6/18
Jack had a great time during water play. For the first time, he ran through the sprinkler. He stopped when the water hit him and paused for a moment. Then, he got a big smile on his face and continued to run through! Jack tried it over and over again, getting more excited each time.

6/20
Jack had so much fun during water play time with Eva. They stood on either side of the water table splashing in the water laughing hysterically. Jack would stop and Eva would yell "more!" and they would start splashing again.
