At 7 months, Blake weighed 16lbs 7oz and was 26 1/4". Unfortunately, the poor guy has been battling colds since before Christmas.
The worst of the colds ended just after Super Bowl with a case of bronchilitis! Luckily it was all cleared up for a family trip to Loon with the Quandt's and Burns'. It was a fun trip with a lot of kids. Jack had a blast and Blake had fun in Bedford with Grammy and Papi.
Friday, February 14 (a great Valentine's Day activity!), we set-up Jack's big boy bed. Jack had a blast helping daddy...
And was super excited to give the new bed a go!
The introduction to the big boy bed has gone very well. We put the baby gates up the first 2-3 nights, but didn't need them. Jack calls, "I'm all done!" when he is ready to get up.
Mommy and Daddy had a nice Valentine's dinner date at Butcher Shop. The next day, we headed out to Newton and Blake hung out with his buddy Luke Quandt while Jack ran around with Chase and Lexi.
We went to visit Grandpa and Grandma in CT the weekend before Grandpa's birthday. Uncle Kevin and Blake got along quite well!
As usual, Jack enjoyed filling the bird feeders!
Grandma and Jack also enjoyed dancing together!
We had a nice visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa.
Blake found some shades in the toy box! He liked looking up at the fan.
At nap time, everyone was tired except for the boys! They were too busy watching their new Pooh counting video from the Glastonbury library sale.
Jack slept in Aunt Elizabeth's big bed (although mommy did have to join him)!
One of Jack's recent loves is wearing his lion towel around.
An oldie but goodie is riding the tractor at the kids playground...in any weather!
Blake likes swinging all bundled up.
Blake is finally starting to hold his bottle by himself. It's a very liberating time for mommy and daddy!
Jack told Hayley he was carrying his monkey like she carries Blake (don't worry, Hayley carries Blake that way in the baby carrier!).
Mommy, Jack, and Blake ride a Choo Choo together!
