March (Blake's 8th month)

Here is Blake at 8 months.

Blake decided to sport his Bates sweatshirt just before a NYC trip to Okemo.

On Friday night, we had a family dinner before the rest of the crew arrived. Blake entertained himself with a menu.

Jack had a little help from the iPad.

Mommy and daddy had a great time skiing and Jack and Blake enjoyed Okemo day care.

The boys got to share some screen time...

Before Jack hit "the slopes" aka. "the driveway" for the first time.

Daddy was very patient and very good with so much bending over (quite the back workout!).

Jack was in good spirits and was quite excited to be on skis!

All in all, it was a great first attempt at skiing!

We stopped to see the Dudley's on the way home and had the time of Jack's life when the Reveley's broke out their instruments.

Check out that smile!

Mommy and daddy escaped for a weekend away to Florida as daddy had a conference to attend on Amelia Island.

They boys had a great time with Grammy and Papi (as usual!).

In March, Hayley came up with the clever activity of dying snow with spray bottles.

Hayley was also happy to resurrect Blake's elephant hat.

Jack still enjoys the ducks and Blake loves holding his own spoon.

Blake also loves snuggling with mommy.

The family went to check out my gym to see what Blake and Hayley do each Thursday. Everyone had a great time at the open house event!

The boys for quite sweaty and red.

Blake has been going through some growth spurts.  He keeps eating and eating. It's wonderful to see!

Jack and Blake also love Friday morning music class with Hayley and Miss Ashley.

The family had some great weekends outside despite the long, cold winter.

The Blake's came over for a visit and Jack had a blast running around with the big boys.

We hit a big milestone when we retired Jack's favorite type of sippy cup.  Jack first got hooked on these cups during an Easter trip to Sanibel (when Grandma bought him one of these cups at Wal-Mart).  This was the cup Jack insisted on for his favorite drink, milk. Over time, he narrowed the selection even further to the orange cup!  Bye, bye, sippy cups!!

The boys continue to love their time with Hayley.
