November Events

November and the colder weather always sneaks up on us, but it's exciting to head into the holiday season.

November started with a bit of snow. One morning, Jack yelled, "it's snowing!" We didn't believe him at first, but sure enough, we looked out the window and he was right!  Jack had a great time playing on the porch and Blake enjoyed watchingn and banging on the windows.

November was the month of walking for Blake!  First steps caught on video:

And getting steadier at my gym:

And even steadier:

And already an expert climber:

Blake is getting better and better at utensil usage.

Blake also enjoys dumping water over his head in the bath. Particularly when Jack is laughing and egging him on.

As it gets colder on weekends, we went to the aquarium as a family, the first time in a long time!

Hayley and Blake go more frequently. Blake loves exploring via his new found walking skills!

Mommy bought the boys matching Mickey PJs in preparation for our post-Christmas trip to Disney Land. Jack loves  playing with Blake after bath time. One favorite activity is climbing on Jack's bed, jumping, and then jumping off. Blake has only just started walking, but loves climbing!

Mommy and Daddy had a Stanford GSB event at Fenway. It was a nice event and we found our old pal, Wally.

Mommy left the boys behind for a weekend in DC with her Bates roommates. It was great to see the whole crew, and it was wonderful to meet the adorable new addition, Nash!

While in DC, mommy also saw her GSB friend Rebecca, and was able to grab breakfast with Aunt Karen and Tim and Kristina who were in town for a conference!

Another cold weather weekend activity we re-visited was the children's museum. Always good entertainment, and really fun now that Blake can walk!

Super Soccer Stars is also now different with Blake able to walk around!
