Brae Burn

We were admitted as Brae Burn members last Thurday, had orientation yesterday, and attended our first event this evening!  It was the Mexican Fiesta pool party (there is a different themed dinner party every Wed night through the summer). 

The boys had a blast. They were in the baby pool the whole time. Jack did manage a few min out to eat 2 large chicken fingers and a cookie. Blake was purple and shivering but having the time of his life, grinning and splashing up a storm. He ate very little dinner. I have never seen Jack so brave and engaged with the water. He was putting his whole face and his whole head under water, shouting, "watch me, mommy," and "I'm having fun," and "I can do this and you can't but I can teach you" [referring to the putting his face and head under water feat]. I have visions of both boys being swimmers by summer end!
