One of the most highly anticipated trips of the year is here!
Beach time in NC with the Yanagi crew. Back at Ocean Isle Beach this year, our favorite.
It almost doesn't matter where we are, however, all the kids care about is cousin time!
It does help to have beautiful sunshiny weather.
Jack is becoming quite the swimmer thanks to Fessenden summer camp, and testing his skills with cousin Emmie was perfect. She even taught him how to dive!
We tried dressing up for professional family pictures. Quinn and Max weren't quite as happy as this during the shoot. Emmie and Jack were good pals the whole week (as usual).
The Yanagi girls have always loved the beach, but the boys have been pool guys. This time, Jack hung with the beach crew.
Jack went mini golfing with everyone but Mommy, Daddy, Blake, and Max!
Blake, Mommy, Daddy, and Max went mini golfing while Jack was at the beach. Blake got 2 holes in one!
Blake spent the whole week avoiding the water. He finally warmed up to it on Friday, our last full day. Better late than never!
We went into Myrtle for outlet shopping, Boardwalk time, and the Pirate show. Despite the big grin from Jack with the sword, he didn't love the show (in fact, Mommy and Jack snuck out early when it got too scary).
Quinn enjoyed feeding her buddy, Max.
We nicknamed these guys Jamerson. They were attached at the hip all week.
It was a great family beach week.
