At 6 months, Blake was15lbs 11.5 oz and 26 1/4".
Blake started a floppy, fold-in-half sit at 6 mo. He's getting stronger by the week.
January began with some good snow (mommy's happy not to be driving in it for work anymore), so we hit the Sparrow Park slopes.
Starbucks breakfast sandwiches continue to be one of Jack's favorite foods. Sometimes we eat them at the store...
We've also had some nice January weather so we visited the swings!
Blake continues to give solids a try 2x per day. Hayley had some good success with bananas in mid January.
Jack continues to develop a love of cooking and baking from eggs to cupcakes to fish to roasted veggies. He is a great sous chef. Lucky mommy has 2 cooks now!
Hayley keeps the boys nice and busy every day with some great activities. Cupcake making...
Sponge painting and a trip to the Childrens museum...
Another of Jack's favorite activities is watching You Tube videos produced by Grandma and Grandpa with themes ranging from filling the bird feeder to making a sandwich to loading the dish washer. Jack loves every one and watching them multiple times, responding enthusiastically to the questions asked during the videos, "do you like turkey, Jack?"
In January, mommy and daddy did manage a grown up trip to Salt Lake City thanks to Grammy and Papi! The snow at Canyons and Deer Valley was not powder, but there was plenty of it and it was warm (30 degrees) and sunny and there were no lift lines! We were able to ski with Annie one day as she was out there for work.
It was really nice to get away, but then it was nice to come back to our boys! We headed to the children's museum for our first family weekend back in Boston.
Blake had a great 6th month!
