Christmas in Aruba

Christmas 2013 was spent in Aruba with the Wilcox's (Sat to Sat with a Wed Christmas)!  It was nice to return to the Divi Village in Aruba (where we spent last Christmas!) because we knew exactly what to expect. The boys were in great spirits at the airport, despite the early hour.

The 5hr direct flight was the best we've had with Jack as a toddler. He's finally old enough to sit and watch an iPad for a long period of time. He even wore headphones!!

Blake did really well on his first flight ever!

The family was excited to hit the pool as soon as we arrived. Everyone was very happy.

Blake and Jack were excited for Christmas (ok, maybe they had no idea what was coming, but mommy was excited)!

We visited a lot of familiar places on our trip. Pizza Bob's was our Christmas Eve dinner destination.

Christmas Day was fun with a lot of gifts to be unwrapped.

Grandma and Grandpa were very kind to babysit every morning so mommy and daddy could go for a run. Daddy and Jack had a great time every morning playing in the pool.

Jack also enjoyed playing in the ocean while Blake chilled in the shade and mommy read in the sun!

Another favorite that we returned to was Papillion. Jack was great, watching his iPad with headphones!

Our final favorite return of the trip was to Smokey Joe's.

It was a great week in Aruba, but Jack was happy to come home. The first thing he did (at 7pm) was run upstairs to play with his trucks.  When mommy came up to check on him, she found him under the Christmas tree opening a present (luckily it was one for him)!

Grammy and Papi were kind enough to come visit when mommy and daddy went back to work (before Hayley started on Jan 2).

We snuck in a visit to the ducks.

Blake seemed pleased to be introduced to the bouncer.

It was a great end to 2013 with so much to look forward to in 2014!
