Of course, Jack turned 3 in August. He was measured standing up against the wall and on a standing scale for the first time. What a big boy!
Amy McCann married Brett the first weekend in August and we left for our North Carolina beach vacation the very next day!
There was a great family turnout at the wedding.
Jack did have some time in the lake with Grandma.
Mommy did paint night for the first time with Wayfair colleagues. Mommy's painting was the worst!
Maggie and Jeff came for a wonderful weekend visit. We did a lot from riding the swan boats...
To checking out the ducks...
To lunch in the Garden (where Blake practiced pulling himself up on his stroller)...
(Mommy did love that Blake continued to thoroughly enjoy his lunch on the stroller ride home)
To a pub crawl...
To a Boston Red Sox game!
We had fun at Wed night Sparrow Park concerts. Much more relaxing when both parents made it! Especially when daddy is the focus of the attention!
We headed back to CT at the end of August for Natalie's baby shower. The boys enjoyed a quick stop at Lowes.
Jack and Grandpa played some chess.
Blake and Grandpa played with trains.
We visited with Great Grandma and Uncle Steve.
Jack went fishing for the first time!
Then we had cocktail time...
And sand box time...
And family picture time...
And Grandma picture time...
We also went to Marlborough Day and rode a train (wearing shirts from Grandma and Grandpa's Vacation!).
It was a great weekend in CT!
Mommy had a great month of August with her boys.
