In the last couple of days, we have seen Blake free stand. It's usually when he is distracted by something (ex. taking all the clean laundry out of a laundry basket). When he realizes what is happening, he quickly lowers himself to the ground. Jack caught him free standing (in the above laundry basket scenario) yesterday and yelled, "Blakey's standing!" It was really cute.
Today, we caught Blake standing a couple of times and this time he seemed much more confident. His face was covered with an ear to ear grin and he looked more excited than we have ever seen him look in all of his nearly 15 months!
We haven't yet managed a picture, but we will keep trying!
