September was a beautiful month with a lot of summer like weather.
We enjoyed a Sunday visit from the Barcelo's. Drew, Ava, and Jack particularly enjoyed Dave's story time.
Magazines are a great current source of entertainment for the boys.
Super Soccer Stars continues to be a fun Saturday morning activity.
Playing under the table is also fun for both boys.
Daddy took at 5am train for work one morning. Jack was up by 5:30, and Blake started chatting then too but didn't get out of his crib until 6:30. The boys entertained themselves while mommy got ready for work.
Jack and Hayley and Blake sometimes walk mommy to work (on their way to John Winthrop drop off). Jack asked to see the inside of mommy's work. He really enjoyed the visit. He was curious to know whether mommy spins around in her chair while doing her work.
It has been tough to get Jack to go down for nap. He definitely needs it, but resists! Taking a walk in the stroller is a sure fire way to get him to sleep. Couch time in front of football with daddy sometimes works too.
One of Jack's favorite activities is helping daddy to trim the vines on the deck. He uses his pair of scissors (which he walks with carefully) and does a great job.
Swimming lessons are going really well. Blake is our little fish. He loves the water. Jack loves the water too, but is definitely more cautious. The bath tub is a great place for practice. Jack is not a huge fan of Blake's splashing.
Jack really enjoys letters from Grandpa.
We got an early jump start on ordering and trying on Halloween costumes. We are ready for October!
