The month of February was filled with crazy amounts of snow.
We were actually able to go sledding in the back yard!
Jack was able to go on a special trip alone with Mommy and Daddy to Utah for some skiing.
Blake enjoyed solo time with Grammy and Papi's house! All that attention to himself!
Jack went skiing for the very first time. It was 8:30-4:30 school with a 1 hr private lesson.
Jack seems fairly neutral on skiing...doesn't love it but doesn't hate it either. Seems like a pretty good outcome for the first time. It also helped that we were there with the Quandt's, so Lexi was at ski school with Jack.
Utah was crazy warm! We were swimming upon arrival in bright, sunny weather.
The next weekend we were in CT for Grandma McCann's wake and funeral. It was a great celebration of her life, and it was so wonderful to see the whole family.
Jack loved riding the rodeo horse outside The Coffee Shop in Glastonbury.
Frozen on Ice was likely the highlight of the month for the boys. We knew Jack would love it, but did not predict how much Blake would love the show too. Blake waved at characters and spontaneously started clapping (when no one else was). It was wonderful!
Re-creating Frozen on Ice at home is now a favorite past time.
Let it go:
Let it go on "ice":
While daddy was shoveling the deck one afternoon, Jack headed out to help him break up some ice.
Here's a copy cat game the boys made up one evening after mommy came home from work.
We made half of our 6 class swim lesson series. Jack's class is a class without parents in the water! That has been a bit tough for Jack. Jack did get in the water with his instructors and the class today. Mommy and daddy were very proud!
Blake really loves swimming.
Looking forward to some warmer temps in March (anything above 20 with no wind seems very warm at this point)! We don't have much room left for snow.
