January Events

After our trip to LA, we had one more Christmas tree weekend!  It's wonderful to take naps during "family nap time" in the glow of the Christmas lights.

Oscar's birthday was at My Gym in early January. It was great to see an old friend (from Bright Horizons Stuart Street and formerly of Braddock Park).

Blake was a hit as everyone remembers him from Thursday classes with Hayley.

Blake even tried the zip line!

Jack enjoyed the chocolate trucks from Gma and Gpa's stocking for many nights. The family Christmas calendar came during that time, and I couldn't help but notice the smile similarities between Jack and Uncle Kevin:

Daddy had a boys weekend in Scottsdale and mommy and her little boys had their first weekend at home alone. Ok, so it wasn't completely alone. We had a sleepover with Ann, Chase, Lexi, and Luke on Sat night. Here is Sunday breakfast:

Boxes continue to be a ton of fun.

Blake has begun sitting on the couch with Jack during the weekday post work routine. It's nice and relaxing for Jack, Blake, and Mommy.

We took a trip home to CT to visit with Great Grandma McCann, and the whole family visited Great Grandpa.

Mommy and daddy got away to Vail, CO, for daddy's Ares ski trip. The trip was extended a bit by the first big blizzard of the winter. Mommy didn't mind.

The boys had a great time in NH with Grammy and Papi.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of snow for daddy to shovel when we arrived home.

It has been freezing cold everyday, so too cold to enjoy playing in the snow. Luckily, Hayley is creative, and brought the snow inside for mini snowman making!

Blake continues to keep himself (and us!) quite well entertained. Not quite sure how he comes up with this stuff?
