July Events

Mommy tried to go to the Brae Burn Wed night BBQ without Daddy. We made it through, but only because there was another couple there to help out!  Jack found it hard to stay in the baby pool now that he loves swimming. The boys had a little seat after the BBQ pre-bedtime. 

Jack and Mommy had a great, quick trip to Wayfair on a Sunday afternoon. Jack sat in Sam's chair and drew her a picture of a spider and a spider web. 

Mommy caught a photo of a Friday morning pre-camp jam session. 

Jack isn't crazy about ants, but Blake loves them. Jack gets excited now to point ants out to Blake. Here they are examining Jack's find. In the second picture, Jack is crushing an ant...a newfound skill and confidence after spending some time with Grandpa at the lake. 

Daddy caught some quiet morning reading on camera...we'll sort of...the boys noticed him!

The Miller family came to Boston for a weekend visit.  As usual, when friends come to visit, all toys got great use!

We finally checked out Davis Farmland. What a fun place!

There was a cool cozy coup race track. 

There did get to be a back up at the fueling station!

There was also a cool fishing pond...

We visited with the Blake's and their 3 boys. 

After the farm, it was off to CT!  Mommy and Daddy got to play golf (thank you Grandma and Grandpa for sitting!).

Emily started on July 1, and she has been a great addition to the family.  Here are some Popsicle stick people she made with the boys. 

Of course, one of Jack's favorite parts of July was early birthday gifts!!

Not sure why we waited so long to get Magna-Tiles. They are amazing. The boys love them and then are so cool and fun to build with!  Jack likes building up (garages, houses w chimneys, etc) while Blake like building flat along the floor.
