April was a very busy month, beginning with a fabulous
Easter trip to Sanibel with the Wilcox family as well as the arrival of Jack's first 2 teeth!
Jack really enjoyed time in the pool. He also enjoyed chewing on the antennae of
the lady bug float.
Jack enjoyed learning about nature from Uncle Kevin.
Jack also had his first bike ride and his first time in a swing. Clearly he was not totally enthralled with either!
The Adult Crab Races at Tween Waters Inn were well past
Jack’s bed time, so he stayed at home with Great Aunt Kathy and Uncle Frank who
were nice enough to sit!
The adults also had a great dinner at Mad Hatter's while the Dunham's from Maine babysat for Jack!
Little did we know that Jack’s favorite activity of the entire long weekend would be playing with the Easter basket and Easter grass. Next time we’ll have to move the Easter celebration up!

As soon as the family returned from Sanibel, Mommy turned
around and left for China the very next day.
It was a fabulous chair buying trip to China with Staples. It’s pretty cool to travel internationally
and be paid for the time.
This was the photo that greeted me (from Grammy and Papi) upon my arrival in China (check out the two cute, little bottom teeth!).
I was even able to see cousin Mike in Hong Kong before heading back to Boston!
Daddy actually had some of his own local work travel the same week, so Jack had quality time with Grammy and Papi. As you can see, they have him on quite the regimen - eating healthy (ex. socks), lifting weights, and many push ups.

While Mommy was away, Daddy and Jack got together with the
MacAllister’s at our place in Boston.
Jack really enjoyed meeting Tristan.
Daddy and Jack also spent time outside in the park.
During April, we worked on feeding Jack different sorts of solids (other than pureed baby food). He likes the Gerber baby cookies. They’re quite messy to eat, though!
Jack also had his very first school pictures taken. Silly mommy thought that school pictures didn’t
begin until kindergarten, but not when you’re in day care! What a good boy, looking right at the camera!
Jack hadn’t been to see the ducklings in the Public Garden
yet, so we stopped to snap a few photos one morning while out on our morning
run. Luckily Jack had dressed more formally for the run than mommy and daddy!
