At 11 months, Jack weighed 22lbs 15.5oz.
Jack’s 11 month birthday weekend was our moving in
weekend! Grammy, Papi, and Auntie
Marilyn were a huge help. We celebrated
on Saturday night with a nice Thai dinner at the new place.
The big news at school is that Jack has transitioned from
his crib to a big boy mattress on the floor…just like the napping regimine for
the toddler program kids!
Mommy left the boys for a weekend on their own while she
went to join in Kirstin’s Bachelorette weekend in DC.
Now that Jack is crawling, we have baby gates up and it’s
a good thing because he’s always on the move!
Mommy caught the kids at school having snack time one
afternoon. So cute all around their very
own little table! Jack is here with his
friends, Alex and Eva.
The family headed to Groton Long Point for a weekend with
the New York crew. Jack enjoyed playing
in a kiddie pool on the sand.
For some unknown reason, the pink Coppertone suncreen can continues to be one of Jack's favorite objects.
Jack loved the Suski's beautiful new beach house.
And so did Mom and Dad.
It was a great trip for friends.
And family.
We managed to squeeze in a trip to Lowe’s at the end of
our CT beach weekend. Jack enjoyed the
fun shopping cart!
Mommy ended up home early from work one day while Daddy
was out of town, so she and Jack had a date night! First, there was a great deal of fun had in
the fitting room at Banana Republic.
Then, there was a romantic dinner for two at B.good.
By the way, see the sippy cup on the table at b.good? That is Jack's favorite kind of sippy cup (an Easter present from Grandma). He refuses to drink from anything but that one kind!
At the very end of July, the Wilcox family had a weekend together
in East Hampton. The McCann family got
together on Sunday and we celebrated Jack’s birthday with his very first
cake.
It was difficult to get the perfect family photo, but this one is entertaining.
Even Great-Grandma and Grandpa came over for the celebration!
The next day, Jack at a really good time at breakfast,
watching himself on iPhone videos.
At just 5 days before his 1 year birthday, Jack started
perfecting the skill of pulling up to his feet from sitting. See for yourself on this video!
He pretty quickly mastered climbing stairs. Even long stairways don’t seem to intimidate
him.
Happy 1 year of blogging, Yanagi family! Jack's 12th month was a busy one! We loved the videos, and thanks for sharing Mommy so she could come to my bachelorette and taste some wine with us!
