Jack and Blake were very excited to come home from school at 3pm on Monday and greet their baby brother, Max.
One of the mom's interacted with Jack at school drop off, and she said that Jack reported to her,
“I have a new baby brother, his name is Max and his head is soft.”
Max likes snuggling with Grammy.
The boys were interested in Max's bath. Max was less excited about it.
The boys were also interested in seeing how Max eats!
Bedtime probably went as smoothly as possible tonight given we now have a newborn in the house!
Jack was doing some reading to Max.
Blake was in bed and Jack was doing his usual procrastinating (asking us questions and telling us things to try to stay up later). Tonight the routine was about Max (Jack now has new material). The story tonight was that "I love Max," so he didn't want Max to go downstairs with mommy and daddy (he wanted Max to stay in his new bedroom).
Blake was thinking about different things altogether.
Blake (from bed): Papi, Papi, Papi
Daddy (from upstairs): Blake, Papi's not here anymore
Blake: Oh (stops calling for Papi)
We know Blake is pretty Papi obsessed from school pick up today as well. Grammy, Papi, and Daddy all did pick up together. Blake ran right past Daddy and Grammy to give Papi a big hug!
