October Events (Max's first month)

We started October worried about a lot of rain, but the weather has been great!

Mommy and Max were out and about asap. Here's a walk from Max's day 5.

Max has done a lot of exploring in his first month. He has attended a few Super Soccer Star practices (for both Jack and Blake).

Max has been very patient as I snap lots of pics. Lounging around...

Mommy was excited about Max's baby suspenders...

This is a common occurrence...sneak attack kisses by Jack...

Here's a pic taken by Jack...

There is a lot of cuddling with Jack...

The big boys have enjoyed helping Max open gifts that come for him and in his honor.

The big boys also practiced their breast feeding skills (you will notice Blake has opted the Dunkin Donuts coffee route for his baby).

Max has tried a bit of tummy time. Here he is at 1 week...

And at 2 weeks...

And at 1 month...

We had a nice weekend playing around in the public garden and having lunch at Panera.

The super soccer stars song...

This was supposed to be "happy birthday, Grace"...

Mommy and Daddy went out with Max for a nice Sat night dinner at Orinoco. It was really yummy. We were done early, so we hit Starbucks to extend the date.

Emily is good about taking the boys' interests and turning them into crafts. She and Blake were talking about sharks, and suddenly Blake became a shark!

Jack has been resisting naps, but ultimately falling asleep around 2 or 3 pm. Recently in really funny positions!

Jack had fun at Ruby's barnyard babies birthday party. When Jack started the school year, his only best friend was Dylan. Then, he expanded to Dylan, Hadley, Ruby. Now, it's Dylan, Hadley, Ruby, Anna, Eva. He has really expanded his horizons (still all girls)!

All 3 boys have pats jerseys. They are not that into watching football with Daddy yet, though. Mommy can't wait to go shopping on future Sunday's while her boys watch football together.

This is good for now, though...

One morning, we got all ready to go on the Boston tourist trolley and it never showed up!

Blake still loves my gym.

This is only a hazard for a 3rd child...swords on your changing pad...

Games with Aunt Elizabeth...

Jack enjoys reading to Max (note he is reading from an empty cd case).

Jack found his new Boston shirt one day and insisted Blake wear his too.

Mommy had a make up outing at Nieman Marcus with her Wayfair team.

A typical Friday night now for Mommy, Daddy, and Max. Multiple open bottles of wine since we aren't drinking full bottles yet!

Jack has really developed an interest in writing. He practices writing long lines of letters...

They use a program called Lively Letters at school, so he is focusing on one letter per week.

Drawing is still a fun pastime, and some pictures look quite realistic now. Here are 5 little pumpkins.

A clear depiction of grass, sky, and sun in this one.

Emily got creative with dinner one night and make hot dog pasta (slices of hot dog with pasta through it)!  It looked like little octopus!

We are still trying to determine how best to get Max to nap.

Blake enjoys wearing bow ties from time to time...even without a collared shirt!

The boys wanted to help with some Sparrow Park clean up.

At some point, Jack learned how to pump on the swings. I'm not sure how or when that happened!

We had our first MFA birthday party (for Ana), and made cool masks.

There is a lot of playing around at bedtime.

It was a busy month!
