The arrival of baby Max

Max was our first boy to arrive without induction!  Of course, that makes it a bit tougher to plan out. Grammy and Papi got up early (3:45am), packed, and hopped on the road, but Mommy decided to head to the hospital sooner and hopped in an Uber. Hospital arrival was at 5:30am and Max arrived at 4:06pm.  He came more quickly than his brothers, but still took his time!  We had plenty of lounging around time (post-epidural).

When Max emerged for the first time, there was plenty of Beth Israel staff around because he had meconium. They kept exclaiming, "he's so beautiful!"  We agree.

Max arrived at 8lbs 4.5oz and 20.5".

Since the arrival at the hospital was a bit tougher on Mommy this time (and it was via an Uber), there's no garage entry photo, but Daddy took one!

Since Max arrived before 8pm, we had one fewer night in the hospital. Mommy was disappointed but Daddy was happy (different levels of comfort in the hospital provided beds!).

Mommy and Daddy still had some nice alone time with Max.

Big brothers Jack and Blake came to meet Max in the hospital for the first time.

Grammy, Papi, and Auntie Marilyn came with them.

Poor Max had to have an IV with antibiotics while in the hospital due to Mommy's fever during delivery.  Luckily it didn't seem to bother him one bit!

All the boys exchanged gifts for one another.

Jack and Blake are going to be great big brothers!
