Blake's vocabulary grows daily. He definitely learns words from us...
Blake was dressing for school yesterday, and we put on a belt. As we were putting it on, Blake exclaimed, "handsome!" Yes, Blake, you are very handsome.
It is obvious that we praise our children a lot becaus one of Blake's frequent phrases is "Great job!" when he accomplishes something like zipping a coat or clearing his place from the table.
Blake is not the most verbal 2 year old, but ironically, his teachers, Debbie and Guerline, say that communication is a strength of Blake's! They say that Blake is excellent at communicating his needs through a combination of words, hand gestures, and facial expressions.
