Jack's sense of humor

We asked Jack where he learned to sweep. In his school conference, his teachers, Erin and Erin said he is really good at sweeping. There is a class job called sweeper and they said that Jack is one of the few children who is actually helpful in that role.

This is how the conversation went:

Daddy: Jack, where did you learn to sweep?

Jack: sleep?

Daddy: no, sweep.

Jack: sleep? [starting to smile]

Mommy: Jack, do you know why daddy is asking?  Erin and Erin said you are really good at sweeping!

Jack: sleeping like this? [cocks his head to the side and starts snoring and laughs]

Mommy and Daddy: no, sweeping! [daddy cracks up]

Jack: sleeping like this? [cocks his head to the side and starts snoring and laughs hysterically]

Note: we think he must have originally learned this important life skill with Grammy and Papi and has had the chance to practice regularly with Grandpa at the cottage.
